Thirty Australian students participated, by invitation, in the 16th Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad on Tuesday 16 March 2004. This Olympiad was the second of four selection exams for the Australian team to participate in the 2004 International Mathematical Olympiad in Athens, Greece, from 6 to 18 July. The leading scores, in order of merit, of the top 10 Australian students, are now confirmed as follows:
