Cut-offs for Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals were 350.9, 257.7 and 173.1, respectively.
Team Leader, Mr Ben Burton, of the University of Melbourne noted also that this equalled Australia's previous best result, and the scores indicated the depth of talent in the team. Australia is still a relatively new participant in this event, and still developing its program, further enhancing the result, he noted. Deputy Team Leader was Dr David Clark, of the University of Canberra.
The program is supported by the Australian Government through the Quality Outcomes Section of the Department of Education, Science and Training. The team's involvement at IOI is also supported by the Australian Computer Society.
